A3 Trojans Baseball Academy: What to Know Before Applying

Overview

A3 Trojans (also called A3 Academy) is a full-time baseball academy in Tampa, Florida that replaces traditional high school and middle school with a combination of baseball training and virtual or in-person academic curriculum. It was founded during the COVID era by co-founders Matt Bomeisl and Addison Maruszak (VP).

Housing

A3 partners with an apartment complex near its training fields for athletes relocating from outside the Tampa area. One head coach lives on-site for supervision, and the academy provides daily transportation to and from the field via Mercedes Sprinter vans. Boarding runs approximately $500–$1,000 per month depending on the housing option selected — separate from the academic/training tuition below.

Academics

A3 Academy is explicitly not a travel team — its own materials describe it as replacing high school and middle school through virtual and in-person learning curriculums, rather than operating alongside traditional schooling.

Tuition

Florida Scholarship Eligibility
